What the artist says:
This is an audio-interactive tapestry with sensors embedded in the weave which, when triggered by touch, will play sound clips additional to the background looping soundscapes. The audience is asked to touch the work - but only at the embedded sensor points.
Metamorphosis is about changing states and the connections that linger or remain between one phase and another - a ghost-like trace flowing into the distance. The design and weaving of the tapestry plus the audio production, electronics and computer coding took over two years to complete.
