What the artist says:

This is an audio-interactive tapestry with areas of the weave sensitive to touch - when triggered, these areas will play sound clips additional to the background looping 10 minute soundscape. The audience is asked to touch the work - but only on the sensitive areas.

Metamorphosis is about changing states and the connections that linger or remain between one phase and another - a ghost-like trace flowing into the distance. The design and weaving of the tapestry plus the audio production, electronics and computer coding took nearly a year to complete.
